I have enjoyed photography as a form of expression since I was in my teens, though have practiced it rather sparingly until recent years. The essence of my photography is an attempt to create extraordinary images, often with an emphasis on composition, from scenes which might otherwise be missed or taken for granted. When it works, there is, in my experience, a sort of magic which helps to remind one just how deeply perception can change when the filter of the mind is temporarily cleared. I hope that you enjoy the images, and welcome feedback.

I have used both Canon and Nikon DSLRs in the past, but have recently acquired a Leica M8 digital rangefinder. Images from the M8 will begin to be posted in the near future. All photos copyright ©Tony 2005–07.
